Business breakfast kick-starts Sandy Park 20th celebrations

The first official event to celebrate Sandy Park’s 20th anniversary will be a season-setting business networking breakfast.

To honour the conference & events centre’s prowess as one of the leading venues in the South West, a trio of back-to- back milestone celebrations will begin on Thursday, 17 September.

The club’s official events partner and former player Chris Bentley will host the breakfast, which will be held in the Chiefs Suite between 8:00 and 10:00.

Exeter Chiefs’ director or rugby Rob Baxter, the club CEO and chairman Tony Rowe CBE and fellow director Karime Hassan will form the panel for a lively Q&A session as guests enjoy Sandy Park’s corporate breakfast.

This includes:

• Mixed berry compote, Greek yoghurt & granola pots
• Bacon baps
• Mini blueberry muffins
• Ham, cheddar & onion chutney croissants
• Fresh fruit skewers
• Mixed mini Danish pastries
• Mini smoked salmon & cream cheese bagels
• Selection of juices
• Freshly brewed tea & coffee

Exeter Chiefs and Sandy Park’s commercial director Catherine Hill said: “We are delighted to announce the first event in our Sandy Park 20th anniversary celebrations. Each event has been planned with a particular audience in mind, and this is for the businesses we have worked with during the last two decades.

“While, of course, we would welcome new businesses to attend this celebration, we are hoping to see many of the people who have used Sandy Park for their own events or have enjoyed matchday hospitality with us or are club sponsors. We have created a loyal customer base in the last 20 years, and I look forward to welcoming them back to Sandy Park in September.”
