Chiefs Suite packed out for first tailored women’s hospitality event

Nearly 200 supporters sampled the first tailored women’s hospitality – Chiefs Summer Session – at Sandy Park on Sunday.

To celebrate Exeter Chiefs Women’s last game of the regular season against Sale Sharks, Sandy Park opened the doors of the pitch-facing Chiefs Suite to offer supporters a joy-filled hospitality package, sponsored by Jo Hooper supporting the Nayamba Trust.

Specifically designed for supporters of the women’s game, guests were welcomed with a drink on arrival before enjoying a summery mezze platter buffet lunch and a chilled drinks package to toast the last game of the season.

Chiefs’ resident DJ Bunnynotbonnie also brought the party vibes with non-stop music before and after the game, while Gabby Cantorna hosted the event with help from Edel ‘Tricky’ McMahon.

Chiefs Summer Session guests then headed out into the West Grandstand to enjoy a 50-24 thriller and bid farewell to the squad’s outgoing players.

Head of business development & partnerships Emily Jackson said: “This was the first time we had designed a hospitality event for a women’s fixture. We wanted to move away from the traditional feel of more formal dining and embrace the fun that surrounds the women’s game.

“We were delighted to see so many supporters in the Chiefs suite. It was a real blend of business clients and fans who cheer on the women’s team home and away. As a first time out, we were so pleased to see so many people there. We will make a few tweaks for next time, but there will be a next time!”
