Five Chiefs Women’s players involved in Sandy Park international

Three Chiefs Red Roses and two Canadians will line-up against each other as the 2025’s Rugby World Cup finalists go head-to-head at a sold-out Sandy Park.
Winger Claudia Moloney-MacDonald will start the Red Roses’ second WXV Global Series game on the wing with back-rower Maddie Feaunati and scrum-half Flo Robinson looking to make an impact from the bench.
Robinson said: “I can't wait to be at home, and to show Exeter, the South West, and the club what women’s rugby can do.”
For the Canadians, DaLeaka Menin will start at tighthead prop and Alex Tessier will run-out at centre while former Chiefs players Mikiela Nelson and Taylor Perry will make their return to Sandy Park.
Tessier said: “I’m really excited and incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to play at Sandy Park, representing Canada at a ground that has become so special to me and in the city I now call home. I can’t wait to be out there and experience it with all the supporters. Hopefully we can put on a great game for everyone!”
Both teams come into this weekend on the back of wins. England beast Australia 48-15 and Canada overcame Scotland by 64 points to 26.
