Kit launch celebrates 20th anniversary of Sandy Park

Published on: 01/09/2026

The long-awaited reveal of this season’s Exeter Chiefs home and away kit will launch the 20th anniversary celebration of rugby at Sandy Park.

Remembering the first time Chiefs ran out at Sandy Park, the new kit will be revealed in the run up to the Scarlets friendly, two decades to the week after the club made its first step into the professional era against Coventry.

The new home and away kit will be unveiled and made available for purchase in the club shop and online tomorrow. The club shop will also be open before and after the Scarlets game on Saturday, 5 September.

Exeter Chiefs CEO Tony Rowe CBE said: “The 20th anniversary of Sandy Park is one I am immensely proud of and excited to share with our supporters and sponsors. Our new shirt will appeal to new and more seasoned fans alike and its launch will kick off our celebrations as we go into our first preseason bout against the Scarlets.”

Catherine Hill, Exeter Chiefs’ chief commercial officer, said: “We could not wait any longer! We are excited to reveal this new kit made for us by VX3. It is a true celebration of our heritage and appropriately honours our 20 years at Sandy Park. We have come a long way since that game against Coventry, but we are still a team that is true to its roots and appreciates the years it has taken to reach where we are today.

“I am excited for our supporters to see the new kit. Like our cup shirt, it is excellent quality and is eminently wearable. We believe this classic design, which will be worn by both our men’s and women’s teams, will be a popular one.”
