Lander heads to North Bristol RFC

Exeter Chiefs Women will bid farewell to Lizzie Lander this weekend as she makes the move to North Bristol Ladies.

Having joined Chiefs in the summer, Lander enjoyed pre-season with the squad before making her debut for the club against Loughborough Lightning in the JAECOO Next Gen Cup earlier this month.

The 28-year-old former British Army officer made the move to Chiefs from Bath Ladies earlier this year. She will join the Women’s Championship South 1 side North Bristol where she will compete against her former side and ex-Chiefs cup colleagues playing for the University of Exeter.

Exeter Chiefs Women’s head coach Oli Bishop said: “We have enjoyed having Lizzie as part of the squad throughout the cup campaign and wish her all the best for her move to North Bristol. I look forward to tracking her progress in the Champs league where I know she will make a positive impact.”
