Lilley to start U20 Six Nations opener for England
Published on: 04/02/2026
Exeter Chiefs centre Nick Lilley has been selected to start England U20s' round one match against Wales in the U20 Men's Six Nations.
Head coach Andy Titterrell's side will host the tournament opener at cinch stadium at Franklin's Gardens on Friday, 6 February with kick-off at 19:45 live on BBC iPlayer.
Bath Rugby's Connor Treacey captains the side from the back-row while Lilley is joined in the centre pairing by Gloucester's Will Knight.
Another notable inclusion is the selection of Saracens' breakout star Noah Caluori on the wing.
Titterrell said: "From the first whistle against Wales, we want to ignite our campaign and hunt together with real purpose and clarity.
"The connections within this group, the way they support one another and their commitment to being relentless will define how we play. We want to show positive intent in a very difficult opening fixture in Northampton.
"If the players take true ownership of their roles and embrace the enjoyment that comes from competing for each other, we'll be in a strong place to start the tournament."
