Poulin calls time on her Chiefs career

Winger/full-back Sabrina Poulin has decided to call time on her tenure with Exeter Chiefs Women.
Having played 24 games for the club since she arrived at Sandy Park in October 2024, Poulin is returning to Canada to concentrate on her sevens career.
The Canadian international has scored nine tries for Exeter Chiefs Women in two seasons’ of PWR games while juggling her commitments on the international sevens circuit.
Poulin said: “I would like to thank all the Chiefs fans and friends who come to watch us play on a regular basis. You really make a difference!
“I am so grateful to have been able to compete in the best league in the world for two seasons while being surrounded every day by such good people, teammates and friends, and great staff too.
“This year was a really special one for me and I really enjoyed my time in Devon, so thank you!”
Poulin split her 24 games with an equal 12 per season. Fleet of foot and physical in contact situations, the 33-year-old’s stand out moment of the 2025/26 season was her individual try against Gloucester Hartpury back in March.
Exeter Chiefs head coach Steve Salvin said: “We will miss Sab arriving at training on her electric scooter. She has always brought plenty of energy to our group and serious commitment to our cause. We wish her well for the future.”
