Slade and Feyi-Waboso named in England team facing Argentina

Published on: 19/11/2025

England head coach Steve Borthwick has announced his side for the final clash of the 2025 Quilter Nations Series.

The fixture against Argentina, set for Sunday 23 November at Allianz Stadium (kick-off 4.10pm), sees Immanuel Feyi-Waboso and Henry Slade both named in the starting XV.

Borthwick has made six changes from the team that defeated New Zealand last weekend, namely Slade returning to take the number 13 shirt.

“Last weekend gave us plenty to build on, and now the challenge is to push our performance further,” said Borthwick.

“Argentina play with emotion and physicality, and they’ve shown they can beat the best in world rugby this year. We know how dangerous they can be, and we are preparing for a fiercely contested Test match.

“We have felt exceptional support at Allianz Stadium throughout this series. It provides a real lift for the players, and we hope to create lasting memories for our supporters on Sunday.”
