Three Chiefs in England squad for Nations Championships

Three Exeter Chiefs men’s players have been selected for England’s 36-man squad for the Nations Championship.

Chiefs No 8 Greg Fisilau has been named among the forwards while fit-again Immanuel Feyi-Waboso and Henry Slade are listed for the backs.

The squad, comprising 20 forwards and 16 backs, assembles at England’s Performance Centre at Pennyhill Park this evening to prepare for taking on England are set to face Australia at the Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, on Sunday, 8 November in round 4 (KO 15:10 - live on ITV1).

England Rugby head coach Steve Borthwick: “We’re looking forward to getting back to Allianz Stadium for four important test matches against top-level opposition.

“These fixtures take on added significance this autumn as they represent our final opportunity to face Southern Hemisphere opposition before next year’s Rugby World Cup.

“Facing Australia next Sunday is an exciting challenge. They have played a significant amount of test rugby in recent months, and we know the quality and experience they will bring.”
