Three Chiefs Women secure Red Roses contracts

Three Exeter Chiefs Women players have been announced in the group receiving Red Roses contracts for the 2026/27 season.

England Rugby have today confirmed the 32 Red Roses players under contract for the upcoming season.

Amongst them are back-rower Maddie Feaunati, winger Claudia Moloney-MacDonald and scrum-half Flo Robinson with debut contracts for Lilli Ives Campion and Mia Venner as well as Robinson.

Of the 32-strong group, 30 are Rugby World Cup winners and the group as a whole boasts 1,475 international caps.

In addition to the full-time contracts, six players earn transition contracts. Hayley Jones (Trailfinders Women), Haineala Lutui (Loughborough Lightning), Annabel Meta Trailfinders Women) and Demelza Short (Bears Women) earn the development contracts for the first time alongside Millie David (Bears Women) and Sarah Parry (Harlequins Women).

Head of women’s performance Charlie Hayter said: “Today’s announcement recognises a group of competitive and committed players who continue to drive standards every day and represent what this team is all about, as evidenced by our achievements in the 2025/26 season.

“Competition within this squad remains incredibly fierce, and that’s one of our greatest strengths. We’re excited by what this group can achieve together over the coming year, and beyond, and are looking forward to continuing our work as we prepare for the next phase of the international calendar.”

The squad’s first outing together will be against Australia on Saturday, 12 September at CorpAcq Stadium in Manchester as part of the WXV Global Series.
