Tuttosi strikes new deal with Exeter Chiefs Women

Canadian international hooker Emily Tuttosi will be staying at Sandy Park after signing a new deal with Exeter Chiefs Women.
The 29-year-old has been a near-constant feature on the Chiefs team sheet with injury the only hurdle to pulling on the jersey.
An original, in that she joined Chiefs Women for their maiden season in 2020, Tuttosi has played 74 games for the club and scored 29 tries.
Off the field, she is a critical part of the women’s social committee, often the brains behind the games on long bus journeys home from an away game.
Currently competing in the Pacific Four Series, Tuttosi said: “I am feeling blessed to know I have another year playing for Exeter. This club has been a fun place for me to grow on and off field, connect with the community, and enjoy the Exeter way of life. I am really looking forward to what we can build as a squad, following what is set to be a historic year for women’s rugby.”
Exeter Chiefs Women’s interim head coach Steve Salvin said: “Emily is such an important part of our squad. Her infectious energy, on and off the field, is a cornerstone of our culture. She is also a very physical player of international renown and is an extremely effective operator at lineout time and in the scrum. We look forward to her return after the Women’s Rugby World Cup.”
