Schools Invited to Join the Chiefs Community Team

An exciting opportunity has become available for new schools to sign up for the Chiefs Community Team’s educational delivery programmes.

Delivered by passionate coaches, our Community Chiefs provision includes standard package options such as structured PE lessons and after-school clubs as well as more specialised programmes like ‘Act Like a Chief’ which uses physical and classroom activities to promote positive life skills.

“It’s amazing to be able to interact with the local schools and children within the community,” Chiefs head of community Tom Steer said. “It’s a great way for the children to express themselves away from classroom activities.

“We have built some great relationships with schools over the years, so I am really excited to carry these on and build some more in the future.”

Already delivering in a number of local schools across Devon, our coaches have level two or above certificates, are enhanced DBS certified with safeguarding and first aid training.

The offer is not exclusive to rugby training as provision incorporates football, cricket, athletics, tennis, netball and general fitness to ensure every child can find their niche in our programmes.

The Community Chiefs have been delivering high quality sports coaching and education programmes in the education sector for over 17 years.
