Youngster George Newman joined Chiefs for the 2025/26 season with a great opportunity to learn from the PREM and international experience of a Chiefs scrum-half group which now includes Stephen Varney, Charlie Chapman and Tom Cairns.
Born in London, Newman originally played for Rosslyn Park before making the move to Cornwall where he joined the Chiefs Academy at Truro College.
An England U18, the half-back has also now made his debut for EURFC in a BUCS match-up against Swansea.
