Danielle Preece began her rugby journey at Exmouth RFC after her brother’s coach set up a girls’ team.
The speedy centre broke into the Chiefs side in the 2022/23 Allianz Cup and she made her mark in the pool stages of this season’s competition with her snaking runs and eager enthusiasm for the try-line.
After an incredible start to the 2023/24 Allianz Cup, Preece won MVP 15 under 23 player for the month October. She has continued to contribute to the season with appearances in the PWR league.
Preece was selected to represent the England Students in August 2025.
