A Devon lass, Sammie Harris was born in Plymouth. She started playing for Ivybridge with the boys when she was eight years old before competing in track and field for several years and then coming back to rugby 18 months ago for Newton Abbot.
The speedster is happy playing at full-back or the wing, and she made her debut in the Allianz Cup with season where she received plenty of local support.
