Kian Gentry

Young centre and wing Kian Gentry – who hails from local town, Torbay – has been a part of the Chiefs first-team set up since the 2020/21 season, hoping to soak up as much knowledge from experienced teammates as possible.

Originally getting involved in rugby when he joined his local rugby club, Torquay, at age 13 having been convinced to join by friends who were already enjoying the sport.

Showing promise, Gentry was brought into the Exeter Chiefs Academy set up through Exeter College at 16-years-old and, showing promise, was given a contract by Chiefs in 2020 as Rob Baxter and his coaching staff marked the back as potentially someone special for the future.
