Loosehead prop Alessia Skeates started playing rugby at secondary school. She played for Houghton Le Spring RFC before joining the Newcastle Falcons Academy.
She has also represented the Durham County and the North East & Cumbria Centre of Excellence.
Skeates currently plays for the University of Exeter first team and played in the BUCS final last season.
