Possibly the best back story ever, Demi Swann came to rugby after she took up wrestling! Born in Ontario, Canada, she is qualified to play for both Canada and Scotland but was called up to the Scotland squad in 2023 for the WVX tournament but did not get any game-time.
She trained with Canada ahead of the Pacific Four Series and was named in the 2024 Women’s Canada Selects squad. She also represented Glasgow Warriors in the 2024 Celtic Challenge.
She signed for Warriors Women at the start of the 2023/24 season but with the sad demise of the club, Susie Appleby saw an opportunity to get her to Chiefs.
Swann made her debut for Chiefs with a start in the opening game of the inaugural PWR season against Leicester Tigers Women. She scored her first try for the club against Gloucester-Hartpury in the PWR Cup in September 2025.
