Canadian prop DaLeaka Menin has added further firepower to Susie Appleby's pack ahead of the 2021/22 season.

Menin arrived from rivals Loughborough Lightning with 50 international caps to her name, adding further experience to the side.

Having first picked up a rugby ball at 12 years of age, Menin rose through the age-groups while playing for Calgary Hornets. She represented Canada at U20s level, before winning her first international cap against the Black Ferns of New Zealand in 2015.

Menin represented Canada at the 2017 Rugby World Cup in Ireland, before moving to Loughborough Lightning, where she spent three seasons before moving into the Chiefs front-row.

She also holds a degree in law and society/sociology.
