Young back-rower Kane James hales from Heaverfordwest and joined the Chiefs squad in time for the 2023/24 season.
His first taste of rugby came at the age of seven at St Peter’s Rugby Club in Cardiff where went on to develop through the ranks, moving on for his schools rugby.
In representative rugby, James has Under 18s honours for his native Wales as well as being a part of the Newcastle Falcons Under 18s set-up for a year from 2022 to 2023.
However, in 2024 he switched international allegiance to England U20 and quickly cemented himself as a regular starter, going on to win the U20 World Championship that same year.
