MaxNorey

London-born Max Norey is a gifted, all-action hooker who is another to have come through the club's highly successful academy programme.

As a youngster, Norey played his rugby at Teignmouth Rugby Club, as well as combining his studies with rugby at Ivybridge Community College, where he gained a Level 3 Sports diploma.

Norey spent time playing in the National League with both Taunton Titans and Plymouth Albion, whilst also training with Chiefs.

Fiercely committed on the field, his energetic approach is one that is liked by the Chiefs coaches, who used him in both the Premiership Rugby Shield and Premiership Rugby Cup. It was in the latter which he made his first team debut against Bristol Bears in October 2019.

Competition with Jack Yeandle as well as former Chiefs Dan Frost and Jack Innard helped to improve Norey’s game and he has now made more than 40 club appearances.
