The powerful Georgian prop signed for Chiefs in March 2023 from club side RC Kochebi.
Renowned for his scrummaging in particular, the Tbilisi-born loosehead was brought to Devon by Chiefs Director of Rugby, Rob Baxter, who was looking to add some strength to his pack of forwards, particularly in the set-piece.
Some notable displays for his country, including a dynamic performance off the bench against Wales in the 2022 Autumn Internationals, highlighted what an asset he could be for the Exeter men.
He made his first-team debut for the club, coming off the bench in Exeter's Heineken Champions Cup victory over Montpellier in April 2023.
