Ground Rules & Regulations

Entry to the Stadium is subject to the following rules and regulations:

a) The Club management reserves the right of admission to the stadium.

b) Play cannot be guaranteed to take place at place on any particular day or at any particular time, and the Club management reserve the right to change its advertised fixtures without notice and liability.

c) At the Club’ s management discretion, refunds may be made in respect of tickets sold and paid for in advance for a match, where such match is postponed.

d) The Club’s management reserves the right to refuse admission to, or eject from the stadium any person who refuses to be searched by any agent of the Club or any Police Officer

e) Prohibited items include knives, fireworks, explosives, smoke cannisters, aerosols, air-horns, noisemakers, flares, weapons, dangerous or hazardous items, illegal substances (including legal highs), laser devices, bottles, glass vessels, cans, poles, or any article that may be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety or which may pose a hazard or nuisance to any other person, or any article to be used for a commercial or charitable purpose. Any person in possession of such items will be refused entry or ejected from the Ground.

f) The throwing of any object within the Stadium is strictly forbidden.

g) The use of foul and abusive language, obscene chanting or racial abuse towards any person is strictly forbidden.

h) Unauthorised persons are strictly forbidden from entering upon the field of play, unless told to do so in an emergency – such acts will result in ejection from the ground

i) The obstruction of gangways, access ways, exits and entrances, stairways and like places, and the standing in seated areas whilst play is in progress is strictly forbidden. This prohibits bringing prams, pushchairs or other carriages into the ground.

j) The climbing of stands or any other structure within the Stadium is strictly forbidden.

k) Unnecessary noise such as that from the use of electronic equipment, drums and air horns and behaviour likely to cause confusion or annoyance to any person, is not permitted in any part of the Stadium.

l) Only persons specifically authorised in writing by Club management are permitted to distribute, either without charge, or to offer for sale, within the Stadium any newspaper, periodical or other articles.

m) The Club management will institute proceedings against any person found damaging or defacing the property of the Club.

n) Persons failing to comply with instructions given by a Steward, Police Officer or other authorised agent of the Club will be ejected from the Stadium.

o) The Club management reserves the right for its servants, agents and police to remove from the Stadium, any person who does not comply with these Stadium Regulations, whose presence within the Stadium is, or could reasonably be construed as constituting a source of danger, nuisance or annoyance to any other person.

p) The Stadium bowl is a no smoking area, this includes electronic cigarettes. There is an allocated smoking area within the Ground, beyond the confines of the Stadium, located behind the South Stand.

q) Bags and persons may be searched prior to entering the Stadium. Bags are to be no larger than A4 in size (297 x 210 x 210mm) – exceptions can be made only for medical support or via prior arrangement with Club management

r) The Club management reserves the right not to allow entry to persons in fancy dress or unapproved mascots.

s) Only alcohol and food purchased on the premises may be brought into the stadium.

t) All persons entering the Stadium are admitted only subject to their acceptance of the above Stadium Regulations. Entry to the Stadium will constitute unqualified acceptance of all these Rules and Regulations.

u) Permission must be sought from the Club to arrange the use of large supporters flags that are designed to be passed over people’s heads. In such cases the flag must be flame retardant and the organiser bringing the flag into the stadium will need to provide appropriate H&S certification.

v) All match ticket buyers, inclusive of Season Ticket Members, accept the risks involved with entering the stadium. Such risks may include a collision with a rugby ball during warm-ups and match play. Any spectator will be unable claim compensation from the venue for such an event occurring as you will be deemed aware of your acceptance of this condition when you enter the stadium

In the event of an emergency please follow the directions of the stewarding staff and comply with public announcements.
