Exeter Chiefs once again opened their Sandy Park gates to their army of supporters at the club's annual Open Day, which took place ahead of the club's  pre-season friendly with Championship outfit Cornish Pirates.

As always the popular event offered supporters the chance to gain rare, behind-the-scenes access to the Aviva Premiership club, whilst at the same time getting the chance to meet and greet with head coach Rob Baxter and members of the Chiefs squad for the 2012/13 season.

Other activities on offer during the course of the day included the chance to have tours of the changing rooms, an opportunity to try out a number of on-field training drills, as well as the chance to learn more about the club's Community Department, Youth Section and Junior Chiefs.

Official club mascot 'Big Chief' again proved popular as he spent the day meeting and greeting supporters, as well as signing countless autographs for his many admirers.
