Members of the men’s and women’s Exeter Chiefs rugby teams will be attending the Cancer Research UK fundraising Curry Night in Budleigh Salterton on Wednesday, November 23.

Prop Marcus Street and hookers Harry Hocking and Iestyn Harris will be coming to the event at the Public Hall, with women’s team back-row Edel McMahon and wingers Halley Derera and Charlie Woodman.

Former Chiefs player Kai Horstman will be acting as MC, interviewing the players and running a quiz, raffle and auction.

Volunteers and members of the local Cancer Research committee will be cooking and serving two curries, one vegetarian, along with dessert and coffee. There will be a bar serving wine, beer and soft drinks.

Secretary Sue Hunt said: “We are confident that with the presence and support of the Exeter Chiefs this will provide good food, great company and a fun evening.”

The event starts at 7pm. Tickets priced at £25 per head are available from Budleigh Salterton Information Office.
