We’ve had six rounds of record-breaking Gallagher Premiership Rugby, two rounds of captivating European action and now the Premiership Rugby Cup is here to satisfy our sporting demands this weekend.

The competition follows on from the Anglo-Welsh Cup, won last season by Exeter Chiefs, with many Gallagher Premiership Rugby outfits looking to blood their young and upcoming talent in elite rugby.

The BT Sport cameras are bringing us a double helping of rugby this weekend, featuring both Gallagher Premiership Rugby finalists from last season – Saracens and Exeter Chiefs – as they take on Leicester Tigers and Newcastle Falcons respectively.

Saracens versus Tigers is up first on Saturday on BT Sport 3 and Allianz Park will see some of the country’s most exciting young players take to the field.

Meanwhile, Newcastle's match against the Chiefs takes place at 3pm on Sunday and will see Dean Richards’ men, buoyant from an exceptional two weeks in Europe, take on the Chiefs, who’ve proved adept at this level for many a year.

The Chiefs have produced some of the best young talents in England recently – the likes of Henry Slade, Sam Simmonds Jack Nowell, Max Bodilly and Joe Simmonds – and this game is the place to see the next players coming through.

And if you miss any of the six exciting games as the Premiership Rugby Cup kicks into life, then Channel 5 have you covered with the highlights show on Monday from 7pm.
