Chiefs strike up new partnership with Bristol Street Motors

Exeter Chiefs are delighted to announce a new partnership with Bristol Street Motors for the 2022/23 season.

The motor retailer, which operates two locations in the city, will be a prominent name at the Gallagher Premiership side’s Sandy Park stadium.

As official dug-out partner, in-ground branding will feature around the dug-outs and on the four corners of the ground.Big screen advertising, product placement and the sponsorship of an upcoming match are also part of the deal.

The prestigious ‘Player of the Day’ social media vote, for both the men’s and women’s matches, will also carry the Bristol Street Motors name.

I am delighted that we have formed our first rugby union partnership with Exeter Chiefs, a club that is at the heart of the community.”

Bristol Street Motors also has a strong representation in motorsport with its own W Series race team, Click2Drive Bristol Street Motors Racing and a partnership with the EXCELR8 BTCC race team including 2022 champion Tom Ingram and fellow drivers Tom Chilton and Daniel Lloyd.It has also supported Channel 4’s coverage of F1 and the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

Vertu Motors, part of the Group which includes Bristol Street Motors, holds a variety of partnerships across other sports, including Sunderland Association Football Club, Middlesbrough Football Club, Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, Yorkshire County Cricket Club as well as the Newcastle Eagles basketball team, and naming rights for the Eagles' Vertu Motors Arena in Gateshead.

It also holds a partnership with the Professional Footballers' Association for the PFA Vertu Motors Fans' Player of the Month Award, which will run throughout the 2022/23 season, and Karen Carney was named a Brand Ambassador earlier this year.
