Exeter Chiefs prop Alec Hepburn has been called into the England squad ahead of next weekend’s third Test match against South Africa in Cape Town.

The talented loosehead has been summoned by Eddie Jones after Ellis Genge (Leicester Tigers) flew back to England on Satuday following a knee injury he picked up earlier this week.

Genge will continue his treatment back at his club, while Hepburn - who made his England debut last season during the NatWest Six Nations Championship clash against Italy - will join the squad on Sunday in Durban.

Mako Vunipola (Saracens) will travel back to London on Sunday for family reasons which were agreed ahead of the tour.
