Limited Debenture places left in new East Stand

Less than 200 debenture seats remain following the release of Exeter Rugby Club’s 150th Anniversary East Stand Debenture scheme last month – and now we are looking to hit capacity before next month's deadline.

In what will be the only chance to secure prime seats in the East Stand for the next decade, there has never been a better time to be part of our exciting vision of the future.

The expansion of the new multi-million pound East Stand is now well underway and is the next stage of the club’s long-term development which, once completed, will result in a further 1,948 covered seats, improved facilities and a stadium capacity of 15,600.

Uptake on the new scheme has already been hugely favourable, but there is still limited opportunity for others to secure their place.

Tony Rowe OBE, Chairman & Chief Executive of Exeter Rugby Club, said: "As a club we have been delighted with the initial uptake following the launch of the 150th Anniversary East Stand Debenture scheme last month. Work on the East Stand is progressing very well and, if all goes to plan, we hope to have the full stand open by the end of the year.

"This is fantastic news and should allow debenture holders to purchase a part-season ticket or upgrade an existing season ticket for their allocated debenture seat for what promises to be an exciting second half of the 2021/22 season.

“We do, however, have limited debentures remaining and we encourage anyone who is thinking of taking up the option to act now and guarantee their place for not next season, but seasons to come here at the Chiefs!”

We have, however, had a few questions on the debenture which we thought we could also address in this latest update:

How Much Will A Season Ticket Cost?

For the 2021/22 Season we expect a seated central East Stand season ticket would be no more than £775. A Debenture Holder would receive a 15% discount to this price and therefore the 2021/22 season ticket for a debenture holder would cost no more than £659 for a full season. This would be reduced based on the games remaining for a part-season ticket for the 2021/22 Season.

Can we sit with our friends and family?

Yes, simply put the names of the fellow debenture holders you wish to sit with on the application form. (As per the debenture rules the group will be prioritised based on the date the first application within any group was received by the Club).

Can we transfer the debenture?

The debenture cannot be transferred to another person. However, the season ticket for the allocated seat can be purchased and used by another person (with the permission of the debenture holder). This should give some flexibility to debenture holders for any seasons they cannot attend.

Are there a limited number of seats?

Yes, this is a limited offer of the 500 premium seats in the middle of the upper-tier of the expanded East Stand. The offer closes when this limit is reached or on the 30th September, 2021.
