Braves side to face Welsh

Dean Mumm will make his first appearance in an Exeter jersey when he lines up for the Braves in tonight’s Aviva Premiership A League encounter against London Welsh at Sandy Park (7.30pm).

The Australian international has only been in the UK a matter of two weeks following his summer switch from Super Rugby side Waratahs, but he will be given his first chance to impress head coach Rob Baxter against the visiting Exiles.

The 28-year-old has been included in a powerful home line-up, which will also include hooker Neil Clark, who is looking to regain full fitness following shoulder surgery during the off season.
Clark and Mumm will pack down in an experienced Exeter pack, which also includes Ben Moon, Alex Brown, Damian Welch, Aly Muldowney, Dave Ewers and Kai Horstmann.

Behind, Kevin Barrett and Henry Slade form the half-back pairing, whilst Mark Foster and Nic Sestaret team up in the midfield. The Braves team is completed with a youthful back three trio of Aron Struminski, Jack Arnott and Mike Pope.

Having kicked off the defence of their A League crown with a narrow home win over Bath United, the Braves came unstuck in their second outing when they lost on the road to Saracens Storm.

Season ticket holders, Gold Card and 1905 members can gain entry to the game for free as part of their seasonal package.  Admission prices for all others are adults/students £10 and Under-16s £5.

The Sandy Park ticket office is open from 6pm.
