Saturday’s Heineken showdown between Exeter Chiefs and Toulon is an official sell-out.

The final few return tickets were snapped up by supporters at Sandy Park early this morning to ensure what will be a 10,744 crowd.

The Chiefs are set to face the French side in back-to-back encounters in Pool Two of this season’s competition.

Exeter Chief Executive Tony Rowe OBE said: “We always knew demand for this fixture would be high. Not only are we welcoming the defending Heineken Cup champions to Devon, but Toulon will arrive here with a huge array of international names within their ranks.

“Without doubt this is one of the biggest fixtures the club has ever staged, but it’s a fixture that everyone associated with the club is really looking forward to.”
