Tournament organisers have today confirmed that the LV= Cup encounter between Bath and Exeter Chiefs will take place on Sunday, March 9.

The fixture, which will be played at the Recreation Ground, has been scheduled for a 1pm start in a bid to avoid clashing later in the day with the Six Nations encounter between England and Wales at Twickenham.

The Chiefs booked their place in the last four of this season's competition after defeating Aviva Premiership rivals Worcester Warriors 42-3 in their final pool fixture on Saturday.

That victory ensured Rob Baxter's side leapfrogged Sale Sharks to the top of Pool Two, setting up a mouth-watering derby encounter against Bath next month.

In the other semi-final, which will take place on Saturday, March 8, Northampton Saints will play host to Saracens at Franklin's Gardens (12.30pm).

Both games will be broadcast live on Sky Sports HD.

The final itself will take place at Sandy Park, home to the Chiefs, on Sunday, March 16.
