Exeter Rugby Club have become the fourth Aviva Premiership club to sign up to the Armed Forces Covenant.

In a special ceremony held during the half time break of last weekend’s home game with Saracens, Exeter Rugby Club Chief Executive Tony Rowe OBE joined Lt General John Lorimer (President of the Army Rugby Union), Air Marshal Phillip Osborn (President of the RAD Rugby Union), Colonel Ewen Murchison (President of the Royal Navy Rugby Union) and David Richie, CEO of Bovis Homes in signing the covenant.

The covenant is a promise from the nation that those who serve or have served, and their families, are treated fairly – and works with businesses like the Chiefs and Bovis Homes, both of whom signed up last week, local authorities, charities and community organisations to support the forces through services, policy and projects.
