With the new 2016/17 season looming large on the horizon, Aviva Premiership giants Exeter Chiefs have received a shot in the arm thanks to a new sponsorship deal with the world's leading manufacturer of performance fluid transfer systems, Goodridge.

The Exeter-based company, who produce specialist components for brands such as Aston Martin and Bentley, as well as numerous rally and Moto-X teams, are now joining forces with Devon's finest and will have their logo on the sleeve of all Chiefs playing and replica kit.

Having come on board as a sponsor two years ago, Goodridge have wasted little time in showing their colours to the Chiefs, who last season finished runners-up in the Premiership and also reached the last eight of the European Champions Cup for the first time,

cbChief Executive of Europe, Middle East and Africa, Jon Hourihan, is delighted to have secured the new, substantial agreement that has elevated Goodridge to key partner status at the club.

"Goodridge first supported the Chiefs a few years ago and our sponsorship with them has grown steadily over that time," he said. "As a motorsport company that has its global headquarters in Exeter, becoming a key sponsor of the Chiefs is a natural step for our involvement in a sporting club that shares our passion for success.

"Goodridge is delighted to support the Chiefs and we look forward to seeing them continue to push the limits and perform even better this season."

Chiefs Corporate Sales Executive, Chris Bentley, is equally pleased to secure the support of Goodridge moving forward.

"Being based here in Exeter there was an instant synergy with Goodridge," he said. "It's great to have Jon and his team on board for the 2016/17 season and share in our excitement in a season we believe will offer even more than the last."
