Exeter Chiefs will kick-off their Anglo-Welsh Cup fixtures for the 2017/18 season with a home clash against Northampton Saints.

The two Aviva Premiership clubs will go head-to-head at Sandy Park on Saturday, November 4 (3pm).

It’s the opening game of four for the Chiefs, who have reached the last three finals of the competition, including last season when they were beaten by Leicester Tigers at the Twickenham Stoop.

As is the nature of the competition, the Chiefs – who have been put into Pool 2 with the Dragons, Harlequins and Sale Sharks – actually face matches against those clubs that are in Pool 3.

Following the clash with the Saints, the Devon club will head into Wales for a televised clash against the Scarlets at Parc Y Scarlets on Sunday, November 12 (3pm).

The competition then takes a break until the New Year, after which the competition resumes in late January when the Chiefs travel to Worcester Warriors over the weekend of January 26/27/28.

A week later the pool stages are concluded when the Chiefs play host to Saracens on the weekend of February 2/3/4.

Kick-off times and dates for the two latter fixtures of the group stages will be finalised at a later date.
