Exeter Braves return to Aviva A League action today against Gloucester United at Sandy Park (3pm) looking to build on what has been a hugely successful campaign for Ricky Pellow's side to date.

Having collected a perfect six wins from six performances in the opening stages of the competition, the Braves will be aiming to further cement their position at top seeds in the Southern Group.

Up against the Cherry & Whites, whom they beat 62-0 at Royal Wootton Bassett last time out, Pellow admits he is not only looking for more of the same from his players in this competition, but to also use the fixture as the perfect opportunity to remind the coaches of their promise ahead of their impending return to Anglo-Welsh Cup action against Worcester Warriors next Saturday.

"Obviously we've been going very well in the A League and our performances so far have shown that," said the Cornishman. "In every game the guys have gone out, done what we've asked of them, and produced some very strong performances. Now, we have to replicate that again against Gloucester this weekend.

"We've talked a lot about keeping things in our hands and by that I mean we want to stay top of the group and in control of things. If we keep winning, then we know we will have a home semi-final and put ourselves in a great position moving forward.

"Equally, with the Anglo-Welsh Cup coming up again over these next two weeks, it's a great opportunity for a lot of these players involved to not only stake a place for inclusion in those games, but also lay down a big marker for when we return to Premiership action in a few weeks time."

Season Ticket Holders, 1905 and Gold Card Members can all gain entry to the game for FREE as part of their seasonal package, admission for all others is £10 for adults and £5 for Under-16s.
