Chiefs duo to appear before RFU panel

Exeter Chiefs duo Sam Skinner and Dave Ewers will appear before an online independent disciplinary panel tomorrow night.

Lock Skinner was sent off by referee Karl Dickson in the 53rd minute of the match between Exeter Chiefs and Sale Sharks on Saturday. This was for dangerous tackling, contrary to World Rugby Law 9.13.

Back-row forward Ewers was cited by independent citing commissioner Paul Hull, following the same match. This was for a dangerous tackle on Sale Sharks' Simon Hammersley contrary to World Rugby Law 9.13. The incident took place in the 33rd minute of the match.

The independent disciplinary panel for each hearing will comprise Jeremy Summers (chair) with Mitch Read and Olly Kohn.
