Chiefs trio named in Italian QNS squad

Exeter Chiefs trio Ross Vintcent, Stephen Varney and Andrea Zambonin have all been included in the Italian squad for the 2025 Quilter Nations Series.

Summer signings Varney and Zambonin both made their club debuts in the season opener against Gloucester Rugby at Kingsholm in the PREM Cup and have since appeared in the first three rounds of the league alongside their international teammate Vintcent.

On their selection, Vintcent said: "I'm very much looking forward to being back with the Italian guys ahead of a tough block of games."

The 2025 autumn series will see Italy come up against Australia [Nov 8], South Africa [Nov 15] and Chile [Nov 22]. All games will be available to watch on TNT Sports.

Varney added: "I'm grateful to be selected for this Italy squad and I can't wait to rip in with the boys."

Since their respective debuts, the trio have all represented their country on more than 10 occasions, with Varney leading the way on 34 caps.
