A host of leading Westcountry brands are aligning themselves with the Exeter Chiefs, ensuring they are getting maximum exposure from their link with the reigning English and European rugby champions.

Rob Baxter’s side completed a historic double last season, lifting not only the Gallagher Premiership title for the second time in the club’s history, but also picking up a first-ever Heineken Champions Cup crown.

It capped a remarkable season for the Devon club, who only ten years ago were still playing in English rugby’s second tier of competition.

Supporting the Chiefs in their quest to remain one of the leading club sides in world rugby is paramount and the club are indebted to the backing it has received from all of its kit sponsors.

SW Comms, the club’s main sponsor for over 25 years - and the longest’s sponsorship deal in the top-flight of the English game, continue to head up the backing provided to the Chiefs, but the long-standing relationships with many others key sponsors remains imperative to the growth of the club.

The Chiefs are hugely grateful to the backing of Bradfords Building Supplies, Centrax, FDS, MJ Baker, Otter Brewery, Packexe, The Exeter, Thrifty and Watson Fuels for their on-going support, as well as the coming on board of new kit sponsors for the 2020/21 season ASAP, St Ewe Eggs, Troy and Wiser.

Lisa Duncan, Sales & Marketing Director for the Exeter Chiefs, said: “Following on from the club’s success of last season, we are delighted that so many of the region’s top businesses are showing their support for the Exeter Chiefs.

“The exposure of the club, both in this country and overseas, is continuing to grow year on year and companies realise the true power of them joining forces with the Chiefs.

“It is fantastic that so many of our long-term sponsors and partners are continuing to align with us, particularly given the challenging circumstances we all find ourselves dealing with due to the Covid-19 outbreak. And, at the same time, we are delighted that we have new additions to the Chiefs family with four new sponsors coming on board for the new 2020/21 season.

“We thank all of the companies for the part they have played - and continue to play - and we look forward to a highly successful partnership moving forward.”

The Chiefs were delighted to recently welcome to Sandy Park representatives from all of the kit sponsors for a socially-distanced catch-up, which included a photo-call with Director of Rugby, Rob Baxter, and first team players Josh Hodge, Joe Simmonds and club captain, Jack Yeandle.
