Premiership Rugby have today confirmed that Exeter Chiefs will play host to London Irish on Wednesday, September 30 at Sandy Park.

The Round 21 fixture - which club officials are hoping to potentially use as a pilot event to bring a limited number of supporters back into the stadium - will kick-off at 5:30pm.

The game, which will also be screened live on BT Sport Extra 2 and via the BT Sport App, is Exeter’s final home game of the regular Gallagher Premiership season.

Ahead of that game, Round 21 kicks-off on Tuesday, September 22 with one of the League’s iconic matches, Gloucester making the short trip to The Recreation Ground to take on Bath Rugby, kick-off at 5.30pm.

Six days later it re-commences with another historic game as Wasps make the trip to the Twickenham Stoop to face Harlequins on September 28 (7:45pm).

Then, 24 hours later, Northampton Saints tackle Sale Sharks (5:30pm), before the fixtures for that round are completed with the Chiefs entertaining London Irish; Bristol Bears playing host to Leicester Tigers (5:30pm) and Worcester Warriors welcoming Saracens to Sixways (5:30pm).
