New Year's Eve date for Tigers

Premiership Rugby have today confirm that Exeter's home Aviva Premiership Rugby clash with Leicester Tigers has been chosen for live TV coverage by BT Sport.

Following the announcement of the latest TV picks for Rounds 12 and 13 in this season's compettion, reigning Premiership champions Exeter Chiefs will bring the curtain down on 2017 when they host Leicester Tigers on New Year’s Eve at Sandy Park (3pm).

The news means that both of the club's festive fixtures - the other being at Northampton Saints on Saturday, December 23 (3pm) - will be broadcast live and direct around the world.


The full list of TV selections for Rounds 12 & 13:

Friday, December 29: Bath v Wasps (7:45pm)

Saturday, December 30: Harlequins v Northampton Saints (4pm)

Sunday, December 31: Exeter Chiefs v Leicester Tigers (3pm)


Friday, January 5: Worcester Warriors v Bath (7:45pm)

Saturday, January 6: Northampton Saints v Gloucester (3pm)

Sunday, January 7: Wasps v Saracens (3pm)
