Exeter Chiefs forward Dave Dennis skippered his team to success in the latest Question of Sport Night held at Sandy Park on Thursday evening.

Flanked by Exeter City footballer Lee Holmes and England bowler Jamie Chestney, the trio triumphed over three more of the region’s top sporting stars.

In a fun-filled evening, hosted by Mark Tyler, Dave’s team edged out their rivals, skippered by Exeter Chiefs team-mate Jack Maunder 41-32.

Alongside Jack in his side were Somerset cricketer Dom Bess and five-time Olympian Jo Pavey.

Battling out over eight rounds, the night mirrored much of the traditional BBC show, but also had a couple of its own special rounds in front of a crowd of just over 250 people.

The quiz itself was devised by Exeter Chiefs Communications Manager, Mark Stevens, and it’s hoped a similar event will be held later in the year.
