The gifted young hooker signed for Exeter Chiefs in April of 2022 having been released from Cardiff Rugby Club.
A shoulder injury meant game time for the Welsh Under-20s starlet was somewhat limited during the 2021/22 season, featuring just three times for the Arms Park-based region, the last of which was a Champions Cup start against Toulouse in December. He did, however, have 14 outings for the Cardiff RFC's Premiership team.
Although he arrived at Sandy Park with a shoulder injury, he quickly settled into life with Devon and once fully fit was able to make his Gallagher Premiership debut in the home win over Harlequins.
Giving his thoughts on his immediate switch to Sandy Park, Harris said: “I am really excited about the move. Obviously I was supposed to start here next season, but thanks to the club and Cardiff, I’m here now and I am really enjoying myself.
“Exeter is a fantastic club, full of quality players, and who are always challenging for honours and developing players. It’s a huge opportunity for me and I’m really looking forward to the future.
“I also want to thank everyone at Cardiff for all the time and effort they have put into me over the years. Without their support, I wouldn’t be where I am today, so I will always be grateful to them for giving me that chance.”
