Jeremy Tuima

Centre Jeremy Tuima – younger brother of second row Rusi – is now at Chiefs with his sibling, keeping him close to his place of birth, Plymouth.

The younger Tuima’s rugby journey began from an age before he can even remember – one of his first clear memories is playing touch rugby with his family and friends at a local park. Enjoying it from childhood, his true love and passion for it only started to develop as he got older.

Beginning with the Chiefs Academy at U16s level, he represented the age grades up to U18s before securing a first contract in 2023.

A distinct moment of pride in the youngster’s journey was his first game in Chiefs colours – for which he lined up with brother Rusi by his side to take on the Navy, their father’s place of work.
