Prop Keita Ando, born in Tokyo, was introduced to the Chiefs set-up in summer 2023 ahead of the new 2023/24 season.
The youngster was introduced to rugby by his dad when he was six-years-old in London and he thrived in the sport. His rugby development journey so far includes playing for Sedbergh School First XV at the World School Festival.
He was then spotted by the Scottish age-grade set-up who picked him up and gave him his Scottish Under 18 debut in the Six Nations campaign.
Prior to joining Sedbergh in 2021, Ando played for German side SC Frankfurt 1880 for five years from 2016 up to making the move to Scotland.
