Olivia Ortiz began playing rugby in her senior year of high school. She joined a first-year programme and received a scholarship to go onto play at Davenport University where she won three national championship titles.
A pocket rocket at just 4ft 11ins, Ortiz has 16 caps for the USA Eagles national side having made her debut against England in 2019. She also featured in the delayed 2021 Women’s Rugby World Cup.
She has previous English league experience having played for DMP Sharks in the 2022/23 season. Ortiz made her debut for Chiefs in the Allianz Cup.
