Another Welshman in the Chiefs set-up, scrum half Orson James joined the club ahead of the 2022/23 season having progressed through the ranks at Llandaff RFC.
The youngster started playing rugby at the age of six for SCC – a club in Singapore, where he was living at the time. Moving back to Cardiff with his family at age nine, James joined Llandaff RFC.
Representing Wales U18 and U19 at age-grade level, James describes his young career highlight as making his Chiefs debut against Bristol Bears in the 2022/23 Premiership Cup.
